It is crucial to introduce your puppy to teeth cleaning gradually. Progress through the following steps methodically, ensuring your puppy is comfortable with each phase before proceeding to the next. The duration and frequency of each step should be increased incrementally to prevent the teeth-cleaning process from becoming a stressful ordeal for both you and your puppy.

1. Gently lift your puppy's lips to expose the teeth. Reinforce positive behavior with ample praise.
2. Once your puppy becomes accustomed to external mouth contact, begin to lightly run your finger along their teeth.
3. After they are comfortable with this step, introduce a small quantity of Beaphar Puppy Toothpaste. Apply a small amount onto your finger and allow your puppy to lick it off. The liver-flavored toothpaste is generally well-received by pets.
4. Once they are familiar with the taste and texture of the toothpaste, as well as having their mouth handled, you can introduce the Beaphar Puppy Toothbrush. Initially, moisten the bristles of the toothbrush and apply a small amount of Beaphar Toothpaste.
